Laura Ticer is the proud mother of three grown children and resides in Jacksonville, Florida.  She has been teaching elementary school for over 15 years and has been involved with Sunburst for just as long!  Her daughter competed in her first Sunburst preliminary pageant in 2007, and she won her Sunburst Florida State Title in 2014. 

Laura started directing Sunburst Georgia in 2018 after her daughter retired from pageants to go to college.  She also enjoys reading, Zumba, and judging local pageants!
